The World Health Orga­ni­za­tion team that said it was “extreme­ly unlike­ly” that COVID-19 could have leaked from a lab in Wuhan has scrapped pre­vi­ous plans to release an inter­im report on its find­ings. After ini­tial­ly promis­ing that a report would be released “in com­ing days,” the team’s lead researcher now says a full report will be released “in com­ing weeks and will include key find­ings.” The sole U.S. mem­ber of the WHO team sug­gest­ed in Feb­ru­ary that the White House should blind­ly accept their con­clu­sions before hav­ing the oppor­tu­ni­ty to review the under­ly­ing evi­dence.
