Former President Donald Trump may have left office earlier this year way down in some polling, but his favorability ratings have rebounded significantly since, especially over the past few weeks as his predecessor, Joe Biden, continues to stumble.

The current president’s handling of the Afghanistan pullout was perceived to have been a disaster by a large number of Americans, both Democrats and Republicans. His reversal of Trump’s immigration and border enforcement policies have been blamed on attracting more than 1.3 million illegal immigrants since he took office in January, perpetuating migrant crises like the one involving some 15,000 Haitians who gathered in makeshift camp under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas, last week.
