Three sources familiar with the matter have reportedly told The New York Times that Attorney General William Barr is considering resigning from office before the end of the year.Last week, in an interview with The Associated Press, Barr said, “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
To say the least, the attorney general’s remark sent shockwaves throughout the political world. Democrats immediately pounced on Barr’s comment as proof that President Trump’s claims that widespread fraud had occurred in the November 3 election were without merit.
