Melania Trump is reportedly establishing a post-White House office in Florida.
The former first lady is bringing along three of her former East Wing staffers in establishing the new office, according to CNN. Trump’s new chief of staff Hayley D’Antuono, former East Wing staff assistant Mary “Casey” Finzer, and senior adviser Marcia Kelly are all expected to join Trump in Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The office’s purpose is to “maintain ‘Be Best,’ ” the former first lady’s White House initiative designed to help children, the report said.
“It concerns me that in today’s fast-paced and ever-connected world, children can be less prepared to express or manage their emotions and oftentimes turn to forms of destructive or addictive behavior, such as bullying, drug addiction, or even suicide,” Trump said when introducing the project in May 2018. “I feel strongly that as adults we can and should be best at educating our children about a healthy and balanced life.”
