“Well that last point you made Benny I think is is critically important 74 million americans vote for president trump 11 million approximately 11 million more than voted for him in 16 of that 74 million over 70 percent think there is a major problem this election they think it was stolen they think it was rigged when you have a third of the electorate in your country who feel like an election was stolen right, that is a major problem that in and of itself. I mean we want president Trump to win but that in and of itself the fact that a third of the electorate thinks there’s a major problem in how our election was run the integrity of our election that that by itself should be the reason that we do an investigation”
“That’s a ways away,” Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican another close Trump ally, said when asked if Trump should concede after next week. “There are members who believe there could be value in having substantive debate of what occurred in states with substantial irregularities,” he said. “I don’t believe that 10 hours of debate on that subject would impair the union.”
“I know we have members who feel that way, feel very strongly about we should be debating what took place in Pennsylvania,” Jordan said. “But, you know, you had all kinds of crazy things happening in Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, all these in Nevada. … So everything you look at doesn’t make sense.”
