Sen. Lind­sey Gra­ham spent the week­end in Flori­da at Mar-a-Lago with Pres­i­dent Trump, where he said both of them worked on a scheme to reunite a frac­tured Repub­li­can Par­ty ahead of the 2022 elec­tions uni­fied under Trump’s policies.

“He’s very involved in help­ing the team win,” Gra­ham told reporters after arriv­ing back in Wash­ing­ton, D.C. He added that  Trump “made a bunch of phone calls” and is in the process of “try­ing to get the best team on the field.”

Trump and his advis­ers and sur­ro­gates have said he will remain active in GOP pol­i­tics and will cer­tain­ly be involved in “king­mak­ing” to pri­ma­ry RINO’s.
