Sen. Lindsey Graham spent the weekend in Florida at Mar-a-Lago with President Trump, where he said both of them worked on a scheme to reunite a fractured Republican Party ahead of the 2022 elections unified under Trump’s policies.
“He’s very involved in helping the team win,” Graham told reporters after arriving back in Washington, D.C. He added that Trump “made a bunch of phone calls” and is in the process of “trying to get the best team on the field.”
Trump and his advisers and surrogates have said he will remain active in GOP politics and will certainly be involved in “kingmaking” to primary RINO’s.
