Pres­i­dent Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giu­liani went on record say­ing that he’ll be part of the defense team in the impeach­ment tri­al before the US Sen­ate in the near future.

While the date for the tri­al to start has­n’t been set yet, it is expect­ed to take place in the days fol­low­ing the sched­uled inau­gu­ra­tion of Joe Biden on Wednesday.
