Ear­ly Sat­ur­day morn­ing, the House passed Democ­rats’ $1.9 tril­lion pork-filled COVID relief bill. The bill passed 219–212, along par­ty lines. Two Democ­rats, Reps. Jared Gold­en (ME) and Kurt Schrad­er (OR), defect­ed and vot­ed along­side Repub­li­cans in oppo­si­tion to the bill.Golden said he vot­ed against the pack­age because the major­i­ty of the bill is filled with unnec­es­sary pork.
