Dem. Governor Just Banned Alcohol For Thanksgiving Holiday

If peo­ple can’t leave their homes, can’t con­gre­gate with loved ones, then what’s the harm with hav­ing a cel­e­bra­to­ry hol­i­day glass of wine? This is no longer about cit­i­zens’ safe­ty, it’s about con­trol and it’s got­ten out of control.

Pro­hi­bi­tion has returned to Pennsylvania.

The Dai­ly Wire reports:

The admin­is­tra­tion of Demo­c­ra­t­ic Gov. Tom Wolf announced Mon­day that alco­hol will be barred from being sold at restau­rants and bars in Penn­syl­va­nia from Wednes­day evening until Thanks­giv­ing morn­ing — an appar­ent edict intend­ed to “slow the spread” of the Chi­na-orig­i­nat­ed nov­el coronavirus.

“On Wednes­day, Nov. 25, restau­rants and bars are ordered to sus­pend alco­hol sales at 5 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Thurs­day, Nov. 26,” direct­ed Dr. Rachel L. Levine, the Sec­re­tary of Health for the Com­mon­wealth of Penn­syl­va­nia, CBS Pitts­burgh report­ed Monday.
