Commerce chief to meet with auto industry leaders on chip shortage

Com­merce Sec­re­tary Gina Rai­mon­do will report­ed­ly meet with senior auto indus­try lead­ers next week to dis­cuss the glob­al semi­con­duc­tor chip short­age, which has sig­nif­i­cant­ly slowed down car production.
The meet­ing will include top lead­ers from Gen­er­al Motors, Ford Motor, and Stel­lan­tis, the own­er of Dodge and Chrysler, accord­ing to Reuters.
