Federal Judge Rules on Dems Measure To Replace Minneapolis Police Dept

Rep. Ilhan Omar fired verbal shots at a state judge who struck down a ballot initiative aimed at defunding the Minneapolis Police Department, saying the ruling now deprives the city of the “flexibility” in needs to adequately protect residents.

“The court finds that the current ballot language is vague, ambiguous and incapable of implementation, and is insufficient to identify the amendment clearly,” Hennepin County District Judge Jamie Anderson wrote in his ruling on the measure. “It is unreasonable and misleading.”

The initiative seeks to replace the police department with a “public safety” agency that may or may not include trained police officers, according to reports, leaving city officials and Mayor Jacob Frey feverishly searching for a solution or workaround ahead of the November ballot.

Hillary Clinton’s Key Attorney INDICTED On Massive Charge

The special prosecutor probing the origins of the federal investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, John Durham, has charged Washington lawyer Michael Sussmann with lying to the FBI during the early stages of the inquiry.

Sussmann, who worked as an attorney for the Hillary Clinton campaign, is accused in a grand jury indictment returned Thursday of a single felony count of making a false statement during a September 2016 meeting with FBI General Counsel James Baker.

Prosecutors allege Sussmann lied by denying that he was representing any client as he told the FBI about digital evidence allegedly linking computers in Trump Tower to Russia’s Alfa Bank.

In a statement issued prior to the indictment, Sussmann’s lawyers insisted that their client is innocent and they suggested that politics were at work in the decision to charge their client.

“Mr. Sussmann has committed no crime,” defense attorneys Sean Berkowitz and Michael Bosworth said in the statement. “Any prosecution here would be baseless, unprecedented, and an unwarranted deviation from the apolitical and principled way in which the Department of Justice is supposed to do its work.”

Tucker Carlson Risks Everything With Dire Warning

The D.C. swamp continues to protect its own.

Fox News host delivered fiery remarks this week about an explosive new book alleging that General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, held secret meetings behind Donald Trump’s back and even secretly told leaders not to take military strike or nuclear orders from Trump days after the Jan. 6 incident at the U.S. Capitol.

During a segment on his Fox program, Carlson warned about Milley’s actions being “treason” and what he believes to be the real “coup” against “democracy” in the United States.

2024 Rumor About Kamala Harris Has Everyone STUNNED

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, there has been a ton of speculation about who is going to be the Republican nominee.

But the Democrat nominee has been assumed to be Joe Biden, particularly after CBS News reporter Nancy Cordes that he intends on being the nominee.

“Have you decided whether you are going to run for reelection in 2024? You haven’t set up a reelection campaign yet, as your predecessor had by this time,” she said.

Top General Goes Public — Biden Should Be Terrified

Joe Biden’s narrative on the Afghanistan evacuation took a hit this week when Army Gen. Austin Miller, who was the commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, gave some news to the Senate.

Fox News reporters Jacqui Heinrich and Jennifer Griffin said that during a classified hearing Miller told the Senate that he “advised against the Afghanistan withdrawal.”

“THREAD with reporting from me and @JenGriffinFNC: Gen. Austin Miller, former Commander of US forces-Afghanistan, told the Senate Armed Services Committee in a classified hearing yesterday he advised against the Afghanistan withdrawal, two sources confirm to me,” Heinrich said on Twitter.

Signs Point To Milley’s Exit

According to Don Surber’s blog post, all signs are pointing to General Milley exiting his position:

Baseball fans know the score. When the general manager says he’s behind the manager 100%, that means the manager has two weeks left.

Biden just said, “I have great confidence in General Milley.”

Look for Milley to soon decide to spend more time with his family.

Bob Woodward has a new book, “Peril,” the latest in his series of books on Washington that explain the deep state’s version of reality. To promote his book, he played up his interview with PC General Milley. He said he called General Li of Red China when Trump was president and promised to give Li a head’s up on any military action we take.

Instead of showing how dangerous Trump was, it showed how dangerous to the nation Milley is. His boss, the secretary of defense, did not authorize the January 6 call.

Who knows who Milley is calling today?

Within 24 hours, the Hero of the Battle of Mar-a-Lago has become bad baggage for Biden. The peril in “Peril” is not President Trump, but Milley, who has confirmed the story.

Moderate Democrats Revolt — Vote NO and Block Pelosi

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suffered an embarrassing defeat this week after three moderate Democrats revolted and sunk her prescription drug plan.

The Democrat-backed legislation to lower drug prices was defeated in a House committee after three moderate Democrats voted against their own party’s measure.

Democratic Reps. Kurt Schrader of Oregon, Scott Peters of California, and Kathleen Rice of New York voted against the plan to allow the secretary of Health and Human Services to negotiate lower drug prices, The Hill reported.

Democrats Freak Out After Figuring Out What Bannon Just Pulled Off

The left has just figured out that Bannon and his followers have taken over control of the GOP’s election machine.

Transcript excerpts:

Today on the show, after losing the presidency in 2020, some diehard Republicans want to make sure that doesn’t happen again. To do that, they need to flood the zone. I’m Mary Harris. You’re listening to what next? Stick around. These precinct positions, Steve Bannon’s been encouraging his listeners to fill. They go by a lot of names. Election inspector precinct committeemen but Isaac Arnsdorf simply calls them precinct officers. They are party functionaries. Republicans and Democrats have them, and their responsibilities vary state by state.

S2: So overall, the the key thing to understand is that the county party, the local party officials, have direct influence on the election administration through these like formal mechanisms. And every state’s a little different, but that’s the basic idea. And so to give you some specific examples in Wisconsin, the election is run by the county clerk. But the poll workers, who are technically called election inspectors, are nominated by the county party, and the law says that the county clerk has to hire the party’s poll workers if they provide them. And in the past, this really hasn’t been an issue because the party’s like basically didn’t bother. They were like, Well, you know, on Election Day, it’s more important to us to have our volunteers out doing other things. But now it’s different now. County chairs are going, Wait a minute, we need to stack. We need these positions. We need to send the county clerk really long lists of really hardcore Republicans so that we can make sure we’ve got people in the precincts running the polls who are looking out for fraud.

S1: I know that ProPublica contacted GOP leaders in 65 key counties. Can you just lay out the basics of exactly what you found when you called those people? Because it’s dramatic, you found a big increase.

S2: So we contacted the local party officials in 65 counties in the most electorally significant states. So the ones you’re used to hearing about on election night. Florida, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, the states that decide elections. And we asked them how many new precinct officers or whatever they call it they’ve had since February, which is when Bannon started promoting this and total in aggregate, it was more than 8500. And the out of the 65 counties, forty one of them said they had seen an increase. And one of the ways that we tried to check ourselves, you know, is this really a thing was looking at the Democrats as sort of a control group, so we could compare past increases in Republican precinct officers, and we could also see if there’s anything similar going on on the Democratic side. And like in Maricopa County, Arizona, you know, which is more than half the state’s population. There actually was official data for both parties. And so you could actually see how the Republican line on the chart just shoots up and the Democratic line is flat.…

Durham Puts Clinton On Notice — Indictment Coming This Week

Special Counsel John Durham is expected to indict a prominent Democratic lawyer who worked for the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Durham “will ask a grand jury to indict” Michael Sussman for giving false statements, which appear to be related to a meeting he had on Sept. 19, 2016, with FBI lawyer James Baker.

At this meeting, Sussman reportedly relayed to the FBI the discredited theory that the Trump Organization was communicating with Alfa Bank.
