Trump Rips SCOTUS in New Statement

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump released a state­ment Mon­day in which he lament­ed the U.S. Supreme Court’s lack of courage “to do what they should have done” and pre­dict­ed court-packing.

“Now there is a very good chance they will be dilut­ed (and moved through­out the court sys­tem so that they can see how the low­er courts work), with many new Jus­tices added to the Court, far more than has been report­ed,” Trump spec­u­lat­ed. “There is also a good chance that they will be term-limited.”

April 30 (UPI) — The U.S. Navy’s main­te­nance pro­gram for its lit­toral com­bat ships includes the cost of sig­nif­i­cant unplanned work, a gov­ern­ment report released on Fri­day says.The 32-page report of the Gov­ern­ment Account­abil­i­ty Office notes that because the Navy “lacks suf­fi­cient man­u­fac­tur­er tech­ni­cal data” to main­tain sys­tems aboard the ves­sels, extra coor­di­na­tion and longer main­te­nance peri­ods are required, as well as a reliance on orig­i­nal equip­ment manufacturers.
