Supreme Court Jus­tice Clarence Thomas’ dis­sent in a Penn­syl­va­nia GOP elec­tion law­suit has prompt­ed crit­ics to call for his wife Vir­ginia “Gin­ni” Thomas to be inves­ti­gat­ed on Monday.

Gin­ni’s past com­ments were put under the social media spot­light short­ly after her hus­band’s dis­sent, with many cit­ing a pair of Jan­u­ary 6 Face­book posts in sup­port of the “Stop the Steal” ral­ly seek­ing to over­turn the elec­tion out­come in favor of for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump. Although spous­es of Supreme Court jus­tices typ­i­cal­ly avoid pol­i­tics, Gin­ni Thomas has fre­quent­ly expressed her opin­ions in public.
