Biden has ‘great confidence’ in Milley after China call relevations

President Joe Biden is standing by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley after book excerpts claimed the general promised his Chinese counterpart that he would warn him if former President Donald Trump decided to launch an attack during the dying days of his administration.
“I have great confidence in General Milley,” he told reporters at a White House event.
“The president has complete confidence in his leadership, his patriotism, and his fidelity to our Constitution,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday of Milley.
