Pres­i­dent Joe Biden released a state­ment Sun­day com­mem­o­rat­ing the lives lost dur­ing the 2018 high school shoot­ing in Park­land, Florida.

In a state­ment, Biden recalled the shoot­ing at Mar­jo­ry Stone­man Dou­glas High School in Park­land, Flori­da, which killed 17 peo­ple, includ­ing 14 students.

Biden called upon Con­gress to “enact com­mon­sense gun law reforms.”
