Stephen K. Ban­non said the start to tak­ing back the Repub­li­can Par­ty is get­ting rid of Mitch McConnell.

“Mitch McConnel has got to go,” he said. “He’s a poison.”

“[McConnell] doesn’t want any MAGA sen­a­tors,” Ban­non said. “You have to remem­ber, in 2016 it was Trump who dragged [Richard] Burr across the goal line. It was Trump who dragged [Roy] Blunt across the goal line. It was who dragged [Ron] Johnson.”
